About Obsidian Wing Sèithear-suidhe Socair
'S e sèithear-suidhe socair a th' ann an Obsidian Wing a chaidh a dhealbhadh airson dachaighean co-aimsireil, àiteachan ealain agus oifisean boutique. Tha an sèithear a' faighinn brosnachadh bho chumadh sgiathan eòin, ag eadar-theangachadh structar chnàmhan sgèithe agus loidhnichean teannachaidh gu àirneis. Tha cùl-taic ann an cumadh sgèithe a' dol timcheall air an neach a tha na shuidhe agus a' toirt faireachdainn de dh'fhasgadh agus taic dhaibh. Thathar a' cleachdadh plastaig àrd-choileanaidh mar bhun-stuth, air a chumadh tro chlò-bhualadh 3D agus obair-inneil mionaideach fo smachd coimpiutair. Tha crìoch dhubh neo-lìomhta air an uachdar le loidhnichean airgid meatailt air an leagail a-steach. Tha Obsidian Wing a' tomhas 550 le 650 le 800 milemeatair.

- Production Technology
- Using high performance plastic as the base material, it is formed through an integrated process of 3D printing and precision CNC machining, accurately achieving complex surfaces and load bearing structures. The surface is coated with a matte finish and embedded with metal silver wires, balancing lightweight characteristics with excellent load bearing performance.
- Design Challenge
- The core concept of the design is to transform the imagery of wings providing protection and extension into the form of a chair. The main challenge lies in balancing the lightness of the wing like structure with its load bearing capacity, achieving a fusion of metallic silver lines and matte black textures.
- Research
- Seated in the chair feels like growing obsidian wings, freezing a moment of burgeoning power into static form. Its enveloping wing like structure creates psychological shelter, turning sitting into a posture of gathering momentum. Exploring bionic integration with modern furniture, it balances aesthetics and ergonomics, presenting a design both powerful and poetic.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by the imagery of sitting as if sprouting black wings, the chair draws on the fluid structure of avian wing bones, mechanical distribution of wing spars, and tension lines of tendons, translating the grace and power of nature into furniture language. It offers a sense of being guarded and supported, symbolizing rest, release, and spiritual freedom from daily routine.
