About Toma Sòfa

'S e sòfa a th' ann an Toma a chaidh a dhealbhadh airson àiteachan-còmhnaidh. Tha cruth Toma a' tighinn bhon bheachd air aon phìos aodaich a phasgadh timcheall na suidheachain gu lèir, air dhòigh aodach crêpe. 'S e an toradh uachdar leantainneach le tonnan bog a tha a' cuairteachadh an neach a tha na shuidhe. Chaidh aodach sìnteach a chleachdadh gus an uachdar lùbach iom-fhillte a choileanadh, rud a bha doirbh a dhèanamh. Tha Toma a' tomhas 1580 mm de leud, 950 mm de dhoimhneachd agus 850 mm de dh'àirde. Tha an dealbhadh a' rannsachadh cruth nas saoire airson pìos àirneis cumanta.

Unique Properties
This sofa was born from the act of wrapping it in a single piece.
It has become a unique sofaa with undulations. This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the sofa in a freer form? The idea expanded from the thought that wrapping it in a single piece of fabric, like crepe, might yield an interesting shape, leading us to arrive at this form.
