About Lakeside Living Tha Taigh Agus Gàrradh
Tha an Ailtireachd airson dàimh a nochdadh ri nàdar anns a bheil an taigh na phàirt den àrainneachd nàdurrach - ag ath-chruthachadh cladach locha le eadar-theachdan falaichte agus slige fiodha sìmplidh na shuidhe gu faiceallach air an t-sealladh-tìre mar thearmann. Bidh dubhar aotrom bho na craobhan a tha ann a ’dol a-steach don àite. Tha e coltach gu bheil an raon feòir a ’leudachadh taobh a-staigh an taighe. B ’e amas a’ phròiseict seo Ailtireachd Organach a chruthachadh le bhith a ’cur an cèill caractar na làraich, mìneachadh àite agus stuth, dealbhadh aotrom agus càileachd eadar-dhealaichte àite prìobhaideach is fosgailte.

- Design Challenge
- The lake clay was the most difficult part for constructing of the boat house and foundation of the main house.
- Research
- We tried to reinterprete the athmosphere of the surrounding wetland area which is famous for its original beauty. It means only grasses, lillys and Filipendula ulmaria as mass plantation
- Inspiration
- The dream of the owners was to build a house onto the narrow lake site which has a close connection to nature combined with a Japanese atmosphere. The Japanese culture reflects a feeling of sophistication, perfection in detailing, open flowing spaces and the accommodation of changing seasons. The aim of the architect was to design a Gesamtkunstwerk where the Architecture is to express a strong relationship to nature in which the house is part of the natural environment.
