Teacsa Leabhair: Tha Ryouriyado Yamazaki na thaigh-òsta Iapanach a tha suidhichte ann am baile Echizen, sgìre Fukui, Iapan. Chaidh an seann togalach concrait daingnichte a chur an àite le structar fiodha. Chaidh taigh prìobhaideach làidir a chaidh a thogail o chionn timcheall air 120 bliadhna san aon sgìre Hokuriku a ghluasad agus ath-bheothachadh mar am prìomh thogalach. Chaidh na h-uidheaman is na stuthan a-staigh a bh’ ann roimhe a chleachdadh a-rithist gus àile eachdraidheil an àite a ghleidheadh gun mhilleadh. Chaidh fiodh, aol-obair agus uidheaman fiodha a fhuaireadh air ais a chur an sàs le seann cheàirdean traidiseanta. Tha dealbhadh an taigh-òsta dà-làr air a dhèanamh gus a bhith co-chòrdail ris a’ ghnàth-shìde chladaich chruaidh.

- Unique Properties
- The request was to change the RC inn to a wooden structure.
So, we relocated the robust old private house from the same Hokuriku area and revived. This plan was consistent with the owner's concept. This stately private house built 120 years ago was too large to be a general house, but it became the characteristic building as the accommodation facility by reusing.
We also reused all the fittings and interior materials that had been used before not to hurt the atmosphere of the historic house. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- We used materials that Japanese people have valued since ancient times, such as wood, stucco and reused wood fittings. Also, by the technique of craftsmen who have been supporting traditional Japanese beauty and relaxation in the space.
- Design Challenge
- Using heavy old materials and old fittings heavily, gave us a hard time harmonize with new materials. Another is adding a calm texture and composure into new materials as if they worn-out are.
- Research
- This place is known as the wild ocean, so we decided to harmonize with this severe climate and bring the strength of the old private house structure in the fore.
We also reused all the fittings and interior materials that had been used before not to hurt the atmosphere of the historic house.
As a result, we can feel guest satisfaction beyond our expectation. The dynamic composition by the internal old woods astonishes visitors. - Inspiration
- As a result, we can feel guest satisfaction beyond our expectation. The dynamic composition by the internal old woods astonishes visitors. In the traditional building, we think that we can taste local seafood dishes more delicious. There is no doubt that this full-fledged Japanese-style inn will make a better impression on Ryouriyado Yamazaki.
Our concept is harmonize with architecture and climate.
