About Static Movement Aparador De Cociña

Este produto manifesta un deseño esencial, que conecta función e idea mediante unha manualidade precisa. O proxecto quere describir os momentos pasados hoxe na cociña, a miúdo vividos dun xeito frenético. As pernas do aparador simulan un movemento rápido, coma unha carreira. A principal característica deste produto é o material: está feito enteiramente de oliveira centenaria. O deseñador di que a madeira obtívose a partir dalgúns exemplares cortados debido a un déficit de terra, o que trouxo estas árbores ao final do seu ciclo de vida. Este proxecto realizouse totalmente a man.

Unique Properties
The main characteristic is the material: it is made entirely in centennial olive tree. The timber was obtained from some specimens cut down due to a land deficit, that brought these trees to the end of their life cycle.
This project has a linear and clean design, wants to make your space unique, and another nice feature is that there will not be two alike, as the veins change from specimen to specimen.
The project has been made entirely by hand, conscious of working one of the most fine woods in the world.

Production Technology
The project has been made entirely by hand.
The sideboard was made in centennial Olive wood.
Doors and drawers equipped with slow closing.
Design Challenge
I drew a lot to find a unique, particular and delicate feature.
I always draw with the pen so that I cannot erase errors and corrections and I always keep the initial drawing in mind to simplify it more and more.
After studying the meaning and shape, I try to resume the drawing to make it as simple as possible, taking into account the functions and characteristics that I want to give to the project.
Research
When I started designing this product, I thought of something that could characterize my kitchen, without upsetting it.
After studying function and form, I transport the project into modeling software to establish ideal measurements and standard. This project has a main function as a container with 2 high drawers and 2 large low drawers and two aesthetic characteristics, the legs that create a game of movement, and the material, that is, the centenary olive wood.
Inspiration
The idea was to capture the moments spent today in the kitchen.
Every day life pushes us to live with frenzy the common areas of private life. This furniture wants to tell how we live our life.
The legs of the sideboard simulate a frenetic movement, almost runnig.
Project Duration
The project started in July 2019 and finished in September 2019, in Milan, Italy.
Operation Flow
This product was born as a sideboard for your kitchen, made entirely by hand, in a noble and ancient wood. But its linear shape and its essential design, with particular legs, allow the product to be placed without problem in different rooms of the house. The quality of materials and accessories make it functional in any situation.
