Existence é unha cadeira deseñada para pensar. A cadeira é tratada como unha peza de arquitectura que define un límite e deixa espazo para que a mente o complete. Fixéronse dous prototipos de aceiro inoxidable. Sentarse en Existence require atención e esforzo muscular, polo que a cadeira limita a comodidade física co fin de liberar a mente. Cada cadeira mide 1000 mm de ancho, 800 mm de profundidade e 600 mm de altura. Os prototipos foron moldeados a man, e axustáronse diferentes técnicas para alcanzar unha precisión exacta.

Unique Properties: Existence chair is a chair for thinking, a piece of architecture defines the edge and leaves space for the mind to fill. There are a pair of prototypes made of stainless steel. The sitting experience requires attention and muscles to participate in. Limiting comfort sets the mind free.

Production Technology: The chair is made of stainless steel.
Design Challenge: Thinking about how to control the uncertainty of handmade, I have a strong passion for adjusting different techniques and getting the exact accuracy.
Research: Collecting Inspirations from myself, Starting with sketching, Making small scale mockups and deciding the design direction, Making real scale prototypes and adjusting design.
Inspiration: I think, therefore I am. Instead of designing a chair for physical comfort, I look for a chair reflecting me and the existence of my mind.
Project Duration: The project started in May 2019 in California and finished production in January 2021 in China.
Operation Flow: The Existence is to sit with people's attention and set their minds free.
