About Arc Mesa de Centro
Arc é unha mesa de centro deseñada para espazos de vida contemporáneos. Arc está feita de madeira de freixo conformada mediante curvado laminado. Únense tres tiras curvas para formar unha estrutura triangular arredondada e tridimensional. Cada tira conéctase coas outras dúas, polo que se necesitan catro xuntas en cada tira e cada ángulo debe cortarse con precisión. A mesa mide 77 centímetros de ancho, 77 centímetros de profundidade e 48 centímetros de altura. O deseño é lixeiro e pode utilizarse como moble ou contemplarse como obxecto escultórico. Arc inspírase na arquitectura moderna e en estruturas simples sen decoración excesiva.

- Unique Properties
- The ARC stripes were made and connected using laminated veneer techniques which combines three strips to form a spherical structure. Each strip has to connect with two other strips thus each strips needs to have four joints to be set precisely.Then combined joints and form a stable three-dimensional triangular body of structure. which makes the creation unique. And because of the unique shape, the Table could easily fit in contemporary, it could act as a furniture or a piece of art.

- Design Challenge
- The table has an unique structural placement which creates challenges when it’s being crafted: To form the shape and the accurate joint angle, which requires a huge amount of calculation when bending and making joint each pieces of wood, is one of the key challenges when crafting.
- Research
- This is an outstanding Table made out of hardwood with overcome various of structural challenges and woodcrafting techniques. The Table is comfortable with its own personality, unique, light in weight and with a pretty structure and appearance.
- Inspiration
- This table is inspired by ARC Guitar Stand, the first creation of ARC series which is also an original HYC creation.
ARC creation was inspired by the modern architectures and the ponderation of space design on how to composite structures that are not over-decorated and form a new pattern that is elegant and enchanted. - Project Duration
- The project started in 2021 in Taipei and completed in 2022 in Taipei.
