Reto de Deseño: The biggest challenge is that the press-and-pop mechanism is used in TWS headphones for the first time. The headphones are often used at high-frequency, so the reliability of the press-and-pop mechanism has to be of high standard, regarding the service life, strength, distance, sound, and touch of the pressing mechanism. During this period, many structural engineers output more than a dozen of structure plans and various materials research, and overcame all problems to achieve the current pressing experience.
Investigación: In order to realize the vision of making clip-on headphones comfortable for everyone to wear, they pre-designed dozens of solutions. During this period, they visited 8 cities in China, conducted interviews with 400 users and collected 3D ear contour data of 100 users. They have very sufficient data support, and finally decided on the current design.
Inspiración: People like to squeeze plastic bubble wrap because it can release pressure and bring people physical and mental pleasure. They hope to convey this feeling to users through products. Therefore, the NE01 openbuds cabin is designed to use a press-and-pop method to take the headphones. The carefully designed mechanical sound of press-and-pop and the feeling of pressing allow users to have a pleasant experience every time they use the headphones.
Duración do Proxecto: The project was designed and developed in Dongguan, Guangdong in August 2022, and will be completed and listed in Dongguan, Guangdong in December 2023.
