About Formation 01 Billa de Baño
Formation 01 é unha billa de baño de edición limitada. O deseño combina unha forma escultórica con enxeñaría avanzada e está fabricada en Neolast, un material composto que permite unha textura inesperada e cores ricas e saturadas. Os ángulos rechamantes e un acabado atrevido en Laranxa Háptico afástanse das expectativas tradicionais para unha billa. Unha canalización interna de auga impresa en 3D crea un fluxo laminar de auga. Unha placa embelecedora de ferro fundido gravada en relevo fai referencia a unha longa historia de innovación en materiais. A billa mide 300 mm de ancho, 207 mm de profundidade e 135 mm de alto.

The Kohler x SR_A collaboration embraces Samuel’s avant-garde artistic approach while honoring Kohler’s 150-year legacy of innovation and craftsmanship in the development of a new design language for water solutions. - To realize Samuel Ross’ creative vision, Kohler invited him to explore an advanced new composite material that offers boundless form, unexpected texture, and rich, saturated colors. A 3D-printed internal waterway was developed to accomplish the unique sheet flow effect. An embossed cast iron escutcheon plate celebrates our collaboration in an homage to Kohler’s history of material innovation.
- Inspiration
- Combining dynamic gesture with advanced engineering, Formation 01 takes a familiar object and reimagines it as a functional sculpture in Kohler's dynamic Neolast composite material.
- Project Duration
- This project was initiated in late 2022 with collaboration between Kohler and SR_A's studios in the US and UK, respectively. The project launched at Design:Miami in 2023.
