A aplicación axuda aos visitantes a navegar polo espazo, participar en actividades interactivas e facer seguimento da súa participación. Os usuarios poden rexistrarse, completar tarefas e obter puntos de carbono, promovendo accións conscientes co medio ambiente. Unha interface modular baseada en tarxetas con guía por voz mellora a accesibilidade para todos os visitantes. Ao combinar o diseño centrado no usuario coa planificación espacial, Timeless Grove apoia a accesibilidade do parque e fomenta a participación comunitaria.

Production Technology: Timeless Grove combines digital interaction with ecological design to transform a former industrial site into a sustainable urban park. Design Challenge: The challenge was to balance industrial heritage preservation, environmental sustainability, and interactive design. The project integrates digital tools without disrupting the park’s ecological goals, embedding carbon saving incentives into daily activities. Ensuring accessibility for diverse users was also critical. By merging gamified engagement, augmented reality storytelling, and real time pathfinding, Timeless Grove offers a scalable model for interactive and sustainable urban spaces.
Research: Timeless Grove explores how digital interaction and ecological strategies can transform former industrial sites into sustainable public spaces. Through user journey mapping, environmental studies, and behavioral analysis, the project demonstrates how gamified incentives encourage green behaviors. Augmented reality storytelling enhances historical engagement, while carbon tracking visualizes user contributions, fostering long term sustainability and interactive urban renewal.
Inspiration: Timeless Grove is an interactive design solution that revitalizes the nanjing watch factory site, a former industrial zone, by integrating digital technology with ecological renewal. this project redefines how visitors experience industrial heritage, green innovation, and community driven sustainability. through smart navigation, gamified carbon rewards, and augmented reality enhanced heritage exploration, the park provides an immersive and engaging way for visitors to interact with history, nature, and environmental consciousness.
Project Duration: Project planning duration march 2024 to october 2024, concept phase
Operation Flow: Visitors scan a quick response code at the park entrance to activate a personalized experience. The app provides smart path recommendations using augmented reality assisted navigation. Augmented reality overlays past industrial structures onto the landscape, visualizing the transformation of the site. Users engage in gamified eco challenges such as walking, waste sorting, and plant recognition, earning carbon points based on their reduced carbon footprint. These points can be redeemed for rewards within the park or used for discounts at participating merchants.
