Production Technology
In order to express the soft cloth used for the table, a large corrugated iron plate is used for the circular part, and the design gently wraps the building.
Design Challenge
Structural support of the large overhanging circular section, and the material that feels light is superimposed on this large volume to form a shape. In addition, it must be in harmony with the natural environment and the local environment in the shape that images the future.
Research
Many visitors related to the wedding visit and use the building. By overlaying the future of marriage with the future imagined by the appearance and shape of the building, we want to test the emotions associated with architecture.
Inspiration
We quoted the shape of the table and the softness of the cloth in the building and the material, and made it a large circular shape with a feeling of floating and lightness. In addition, we created an architecture that allows us to imagine the future and marriage associated with shapes.
Project Duration
The project was completed in Osaka, Japan in February 2020
Operation Flow
It will be used as an office, but a multipurpose hall will be opened if necessary. This hall is largely connected to the outside, and the connection between the inside and outside enables expansion of space and use.
