About Good Boy Good Girl રતન શિલ્પ
ગુડ બોય ગુડ ગર્લ એ બાળકના આકારને દર્શાવતા રતન શિલ્પોની જોડી છે. દરેક શિલ્પ લગભગ ૧.૪ મીટર ઊંચું છે અને ધાતુના માળખા પર વણેલા રતનમાંથી બનાવવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ કૃતિ છડી (કેન)નો સંદર્ભ આપે છે, જે સિંગાપોરમાં ઘણા માતાપિતા દ્વારા શારીરિક શિક્ષા માટે ઉપયોગમાં લેવાતું સાધન છે, જેની પાછળ એવી માન્યતા છે કે છડી બાળકના ચારિત્ર્યને ઘડે છે. આ શિલ્પો ઝડપી ગતિવાળા વાતાવરણમાં બાળકો પર સામાજિક બળોની જકડી રાખતી પકડને દર્શાવે છે. શરીર અને મન બંનેની કઠોરતાને વ્યક્ત કરવા માટે રતનની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી હતી.
