About Roentgen Aikin Farko: Teburin Kwana

Rubutun Littafi: Roentgen tebur ne na kwana da aka tsara don ɗakin barci. An yi Roentgen da katako mai ƙarfi kuma yana da nau'i biyu na akwatunan zuruf, wanda ake iya gani da kuma wanda aka ɓoye. Idan aka ja akwatin zuruf mai ƙarya na ƙasa waje sannan aka juya shi, ƙananan akwatunan zuruf guda biyar da aka ɓoye za su bayyana. An kuma samar da ƙananan akwatunan zuruf guda biyu masu bayyana da kuma babban akwatin zuruf ɗaya wanda ke da wuraren caji da aka gina ciki don na'urorin lantarki. An sanya na'urar caji ta wireless a wani kusurwa na sama. An yi amfani da kayan haɗi masu buɗewa ta hanyar turawa da kuma layukan ƙarfe. Ƙirar tana nuni ga kayan daki masu inji na ƙarni na 18 da ke da ɓoyayyun sassa.

Zanen Roentgen Aikin Farko: Teburin Kwana ya lashe Kyautar A' Design Award ta Baƙin Ƙarfe, wata karramawa mai daraja da ake bai wa kyawawan zane-zane waɗanda ke cika buƙatun ƙwararru da masana'antu da ake tsammani daga ƙirƙire-ƙirƙire da aka tsara da kyau. Waɗanda suka lashe kyautar Baƙin Ƙarfe suna nuna babban ƙwarewa, ƙwarewa ta musamman, fahimtar ƙwararru da ikon ƙirƙira na masu ƙirƙirar su. Unique Properties: Roentgen nightstand involves the owner in the process of unlatching and expanding it outward into the room, a sequence of new spatial conditions that offers additional useful storage space and protection for personal belongings. It has a set of hidden drawers that can be accessed by pulling outward visible section of drawers and turning it left/right (according to configuration). The design is simple and can be performed in a wide range of color and material combinations.

Production Technology: Material used is solid wood. Available in custom type of wood and finish. Push to open technology for drawers.
Design Challenge: The challenge was to integrate the idea of having a secret set of drawers in the modern nightstand, but at the same time not to create a massive piece of furniture as it was in the 18th century, and to make a construction stable when it expands outward.
Research: The project is a result of research on works of 18th century cabinetmakers adapted in terms of current trends and needs in the field of furniture production, technologies, and design.
Inspiration: The inspiration came from the works of David Roentgen, German cabinetmaker whose design innovation in the creation of ingenious pieces of mechanical furniture with secret drawers and compartments operated by hidden springs and levers made him renowned throughout the ruling houses of 18th century Europe.
Project Duration: The concept was developed and visualized in January 2020 in Miami.
Operation Flow: The nightstand has 2 sets of drawers - visible and hidden. If a fake bottom drawer is pulled outward, the hidden set of drawers will appear. Thus, it has 1 large drawer with built in recharges for electronic devices, 2 visible small drawers, and 5 hidden small drawers. So, personal belongings can be stored out of sight, keeping the home tidy and organized. All the drawers are lined and the quality metal runners ensure they run smoothly. There is a wireless charger in the upper right/left corner (according to configuration).
