About Cassiopeia Sassaka

Cassiopeia sassaka ce da aka yi da gilashin sake yin fa'ida da kuma sharar gilashi na masana'antu. Kayan da a wasu lokutan zai kare a wurin zubar da shara, amma a maimakon haka an narkar da shi kuma aka sake tsara shi cikin sabon salo. Kowane yanki gilashi ne da aka busa da baki a studio, aka tsara shi da hannu. Farfajiyoyi masu tsauri da na halitta suna nuna kyawun fasahar Scandinavia da haske. Kowace dome ta gilashi tana da haske kadan, kuma farfajiyoyin da suke kama da kankara suna narkewa tare su hade zama shimfidar shigarwa mai kama da yanayin kasa. Sassakar tana da girman santimita 150 zuwa 50 zuwa 30. Manufar ita ce fassarar waka na banbanci tsakanin kayan da aka sake yin fa'ida da kuma kayan masu daraja.

Zanen Cassiopeia Sassaka ya lashe Kyautar A' Design Award ta Tagulla, wata karramawa mai tsananin daraja da ake bai wa zane-zane na musamman waɗanda ke da ƙirƙira, basira da hikima. Waɗanda suka lashe kyautar Tagulla kayayyakin fasaha ne masu ƙwarewa da ƙirƙira mai ban mamaki waɗanda ke tabbatar da babban gogewa, tunani da dabarun masu zanensu. Ana sa ran zanen Cassiopeia Sassaka ya zama abu da ake girmamawa sosai, ake sha'awa da ƙauna, mai ƙwarewa da ƙirƙire-ƙirƙire. Unique Properties: Glass medium can be reused countless of times, as the material stays pure. The sculpture is made from unpure glass material that would en up as a landfill. Cassiopeia reflects Scandinavian aesthetics and light through organic surfaces. Each sculpture is made from mouth blown studio glass and shaped by hand. The design philosophy behind the Cassiopeia is to create poetic interpretation of the weightless yet strong nature of glass. How it allows to see to the deepness of the Universe though the lenses of telescope and into the smallest details of life in the microscopic world.
Dimensions & Packaging: Dimensions 150 cm x 50 cm x 30 cm. Every object has a unique dimensions.

Production Technology: Blown glass. Hand shaped.
Design Challenge: The creative challenge was to ballance with strong and organic shapes in a way that the outcome is harmonious.
Research: The sculpture aims to highlight the timeless beauty of recycled glass material. How broken material that would otherwise been used as a landfill be metted back again and healed into something new.
Inspiration: Glass that is used in the sculptures is both industrial waste and recycled glass. Therefore the sculpture plays with organic surfaces and the contrast between recycled and waluable. Cassiopeia is inspired by the microscopic world and how something invisibly small can change the World.
Project Duration: Project was exhibited in Venice Glass Week 2020.
Operation Flow: The sculpture plays with rough and organic surfaces, glass and light. Every bumpy glass dome is slightly illuminated. The ice like surfaces are melting together into a landscape like installation.
