About Kama-Asa Shop Primary Function: Zanen Cikin Gida na Kantin Sayarwa

Book Text: Kantin Kama-Asa wani zane ne na cikin gida na kantin sayarwa da ke sayar da kayan aikin kicin a birnin Tokyo. Kantin ya dogara ne kan imanin cewa ana ƙera kyawawan kayan aiki saboda kyakkyawan dalili, don haka wurin yana nuna gwanintar masu sana'ar da suke ƙera kayan aikin da aka nuna. Domin nuna wannan tunani, cikin gidan yana nuna gwanintar masu gine-gine. Rebar, wani sanduna na ƙarfe mai ratsi wanda a kai a kai ake ɓoyewa a cikin bango, ya zama babban ɓangaren zanen. An yi hannuka da kayan daki daga rebar. Siffofin suna da sauƙi, amma har yanzu aikin yana buƙatar gwanintar sana'a ta hankali.

Unique Properties: As Kama-Asa Shop's policy is set on belief that good tools are made for good reason, it delivers to the customers excellent skills of craftsmen, which make kitchen utensils.
Therefore, the most appropriate for the shop's space was to show architectural skills of craftsmen. The rebar that is usually hidden in the wall became the main design.
Handrails and furniture were designed with rebar. Although they are simple, they still require the use of craftsman skills.

Inspiration: Concept - the rebar

The rebar is a stick-shaped rolled steel material formed from irregular nubs called ribs and joints that are used as a building construction material.

Design started from May 2018 to May 2020
Construction started from May to July 2020 in Tokyo.
