Rubutun Littafi: Pool murfin littafi ne mai hulɗa da aka ƙirƙira don wata littafiyar kimiyya. Ƙirar ta sake fassara siffar algae ta hanyar amfani da haruffan Sinanci, kuma an shirya siffofin algae da yawa a fadin murfin domin masu karatu su fahimci batun nan take. An lulluɓe zane-zanen nau'ukan algae daban-daban da varnish mai tabo, wanda ke haifar da wani madubi kamar na ruwa da kuma yanayin gaskiya. Zane-zanen sun bazu a fadin dukkan murfin domin su ƙirƙiri hoton wani tafki cike da algae. Launukan rawaya mai walƙiya (neon) da kore suna nuna bambancin algae. Wani ɗan gajeren tambaya na daidaitawa a cikin murfin na ciki yana ba masu karatu damar koyon sunayen algae.

- Unique Properties
- Designer redesigns the look of algae with the Chinese character, and combined with numbers of algae on the cover, leading readers to associate with the topic immediately. Doodles of various types of algae are coated with translucent varnish which creates senses of watery reflection. They extend through the whole cover to create an image of pond that full of algae. A small matching quiz is designed on the inner cover for readers to get to know the names of algae.

- Production Technology
- For the main visual design, it is coated with spot varnish to emphasize the vivid effect and the realistic texture while it is brightly colored with neon yellow and greenish tones.
- Design Challenge
- The process of finding an attractive and an eye-catching way to design a science book cover requires several attampts and brain-storming.
- Inspiration
- It starts from a small pond which is filled with algae floating on the top of the surface, and can be found everywhere. The colorful design is meant to show the diversities and interesting sides of algae. Readers can also associate with the algae they have seen by touching the varnished algae doodles.
- Project Duration
- The designing project started and finished in December 2019 in Tainan, Taiwan, and was published in Taiwan on 5th of Decenber, 2019.
- Operation Flow
- Besides from the vivid color it used. A samll interactive quiz is designed on the inner cover of the book. Readers can choose the corresponded names to match the correct algae.
