About Interweave Aikin Farko: Kabad na Nuni

Nassin Littafi: Interweave kabad ne na nuni da aka tsara don zaman rumfuna da zaunannun baki. Kabad din ya kunshi sirara na katako da suka haɗu a kusurwoyi daban-daban, suna samar da tsari mai ratsi da ke aiki a matsayin katanga mai rabin-bayyanawa. An yi amfani da nau'ikan katako guda biyu, walnut da beech mai tauri, don haka layukan da suka haɗu suna da bambancin launi wanda ke ƙara jin zurfi. Haɗin gargajiya na mortise da tenon ne ke haɗa kowace siraran katako, suna barin santsi mara fuka-fukai ko sikirin. Abubuwan da aka ajiye a ciki ana iya hango su ta cikin tsarin ratsi, wanda ke samar da hanyar nuni mai ɓoyayye. Kabad din yana da girman milimita 1450 da 700 da 500.

Unique Properties: The Interweave cabinet is composed of intersecting lines, utilizing two different types of wood to add a greater sense of interlacing. These lines form a semi-transparent barrier, creating a feeling of depth. Through this semi-transparent design approach, the contents placed inside the cabinet can be glimpsed, making it suitable for displaying items of showcase. It presents a discreet yet intriguing display method, showcasing a unique aesthetic.

Production Technology: The cabinet is made by walnut and beech hardwood, using traditional mortise and tenon joints to combine all the different angled wooden strips, while maintaining a smooth exterior without the need for pegs or screws.
Design Challenge: The greatest challenge was to create a complex structure composed of different angled lines, all seamlessly joined through traditional joinery methods, resulting in a unified and fluid effect.
Research: To avoid the use of any screws between these sticks and seamlessly integrate every distinct stick angle, precision was crucial in ensuring the joints fit seamlessly. Given the grid structure encompassing the entire cabinet, we crafted numerous samples to guarantee a construction that is both sturdy and solid, striking a balance between various considerations.
Inspiration: The inspiration behind the Interweaving Cabinet design derives from the fusion of natural beauty and contemporary style. By selecting two different-colored woods, we've created a unique visual effect where intersecting wood grains form a complex yet harmonious pattern. These interwoven lines are not just design elements but also symbolize the blending and connection of different elements in life.
Project Duration: The project started in December 2021 in Hsinchu and finished in May 2022.
Operation Flow: The Interweave cabinet is ideally suited for placement in living rooms or lobbies, providing a space to showcase items. The interwoven structure of the cabinet creates an almost ethereal quality to its contents, making it suitable for displaying items of significance. It adds a veil to the showcased items, creating a new visual perspective.
