About Toma Kujera Mai Laushi (Sofa)

Toma kujera ce mai laushi wadda aka tsara don wuraren zama. Siffar Toma ta samo asali ne daga tunanin naɗe yadi guda ɗaya a kewaye da dukkan wurin zaman, kamar yadda ake yin yadin crepe. Sakamakon shi ne fili mai ci gaba da laushi mai lanƙwasa-lanƙwasa wanda ke lulluɓe mutumin da ke zaune. An yi amfani da yadi mai mīƙewa (stretch fabric) don cimma wannan fili mai sarƙaƙƙiyar lanƙwasa, wanda ke da wahalar samarwa. Toma tana da faɗin milimita 1580, zurfin milimita 950 da tsayin milimita 850. Wannan ƙirar tana bincike ne kan siffa mai ƴanci ga kayan ɗaki na yau da kullum.

Waɗanda suka lashe kyautar Azurfa ayyuka ne masu haske sosai da ƙirƙira mai yawa waɗanda ke nuna ƙwarewa, baiwa da kaifin tunanin masu zanensu. Ana sa ran zanen Toma Kujera Mai Laushi (Sofa) ya zama aiki mai ban mamaki, abin koyi, mai ƙwarewa sosai kuma mai ƙirƙire-ƙirƙire mai zurfi. Unique Properties: This sofa was born from the act of wrapping it in a single piece.
It has become a unique sofaa with undulations.This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the sofa in a freer form? The idea expanded from the thought that wrapping it in a single piece of fabric, like crepe, might yield an interesting shape, leading us to arrive at this form.

Production Technology: Creating the shape of the tertiary surface proved extremely challenging. It was achieved by employing stretch fabric.
Design Challenge: Expressing the form of the cubic surface and realising it while utilising the engineers' skills proved extremely challenging. Through repeated discussions, we continued to seek the correct solution until completion was achieved.
Inspiration: This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the sofa in a freer form? The idea expanded from the thought that wrapping it in a single piece of fabric, like crepe, might yield an interesting shape, leading us to arrive at this form.
Project Duration: The project started in Apr. 2020 in Tokyo and finished in Jan. 2021 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2022.
Operation Flow: This unique sofa, which adorns the space, envelops those who sit upon it. It promises an experience unlike any other.
