About Tamás Túri
Tamás Túri is currently a student in the Product Design Department at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest, where he expects to receive his Bachelor's degree in 2017 June. Inspired by the contrast between rapidly developing technology and traditional craftsmanship, he aims to innovate, rethink and create unique solutions.
The creative work of Tamás Túri has been celebrated by the internationally acclaimed A' Design Award & Competition in Kaʻa. A record of 2 A' Design Awards, including the A' Design Award Kala, underlines the creative excellence of Tamás Túri. Tamás Túri has been recognized repeatedly in the Kaʻa category. The verdict on the work of Tamás Túri came from an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and journalists, who scored anonymized entries against predetermined criteria.
The awards were granted between the 2015 - 2016 and 2016 - 2017 editions of the A' Design Award & Competition, a span that reflects sustained creative excellence. The achievements of Tamás Túri earned the World Design Rating title Mea ʻOihana Hiki Mai. The success of Tamás Túri adds to the international design reputation of Hungali.
