About Irises טבעת

איריסים היא טבעת כפולה בהשראת ציור של וינסנט ואן גוך. הציור מתאר פרחים כחולים בעלי עלים ארוכים בצורת חרב. בטבעת, הפרחים מיוצגים על ידי ספיר כחול וטופז בגוני לונדון ותכלת, בעוד זהב מפוסל יוצר את העלים בתנועה. הטבעת עשויה זהב 18 קראט בעבודת יד, בגימור מט ובשיבוץ צבתות. היצירה קלה ונוחה לענידה. הכוונה היא להביא את הצבעים והצורות של הטבע והציור אל תוך חפץ הניתן לענידה.

Unique Properties: Van Gogh’s irises have blue flowers with sword shaped leaves that are long and laminar. The flowers are represented in this double ring by sapphires and topazes while the sculptured gold conveys the leaves in their movement. The double ring is both comfortable and stunning!

Design Challenge: During the search for the idealized materials, some types of gemstones were not located and some cut formats were unavailable. The acquisition of gemstones in other formats and types was carried out and a new design was performed adapting to the materials found.
Research: After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
