Design Challenge

Starting from four basic configurations (80 cm or 160 cm wall and 80 cm or 160 cm island) it is possible to integrate additional accessories.

Research

A monolithic structure, in which the functions of air and light become complementary: in the lower front side of the hob there is in fact a large LED light panel. A strategic light point during food preparation, to be used also as ambient light for the most convivial moments. You can adapt the intensity and color of the LEDs, from cold white to warmer ones to create the perfect atmosphere.
Thanks to the double suction unit and the special Long Life filters (which can be regenerated in the oven for 3 years), Open Suite has been designed to guarantee maximum performance in the filter version and maximum freedom of movement in the kitchen.

Project Duration

It took 1 year to fully develop the project and it all took place in Fabriano

Operation Flow

In addition to the ergonomic controls located on the front, it is possible to interact with the Open Suite through Vocal Assistant (Alexa, Google Home) or through the Elica app. A practical and fast tool that, in addition to remotely controlling the lights and extraction, provides feedback on filter maintenance and suggests valuable tips for maintaining the hood at its best.
