תקווה היא טבעת סמלית המורכבת משני חלקים המחוברים בציר, כך שהחלק העליון ניתן לפתיחה כמו קופסה קטנה. המשטח החיצוני מכוסה באמייל שחור ומייצג את החושך. המשטח הפנימי משובץ ביהלומים המסודרים במשולשים, ויהלום צהוב במרכז מייצג את השמש וימים בהירים יותר. פתח מרובע קטן מעל העיצוב מאפשר לראות את היהלום הצהוב. הטבעת עשויה מכסף עם זהב ומידותיה 2.5 על 2.5 על 4 סנטימטרים.
