Slow Bakery היא מאפייה קמעונאית שעוצבה בתוך מוסך לשעבר במגונג, מחוז פנגהו, טייוואן. גווני עץ טבעיים וגימורי בטון מחוספסים מעניקים לחלל אופי חם ומקצועי. דלת כניסה מעץ בצורת כיכר לחם, המצוידת בידית פליז, משקפת את זהות המותג. דלפק טראצו וקירות לוחות מחוררים (פגבורד) מוסיפים פונקציונליות וסדר. עץ ממוחזר ופאנלים מצופים פורניר תומכים בקיימות. תכנון מרחבי קפדני משפר את זרימת הלקוחות ואת ההיגיינה, וכל חלל הפנים משקף מסירות לאפייה אומנותית.

The bread shaped wooden door and brass handle reflect the brand’s identity, while a terrazzo counter and pegboard walls add function and style. Thoughtful spatial planning enhances customer flow and hygiene. Every detail embodies the owner’s passion for artisanal baking, sustainability, and his deep connection to his hometown.

- Precise technical planning and detailed CAD drawings informed the project. Custom elements were scaled for optimal spatial flow, exemplified by the bread inspired door and ergonomic counters. Furniture and fixtures were dimensioned to ensure fluid circulation and functionality. Innovative detailing, including the bread inspired door, reinforces the brand identity and technical excellence.

- The greatest creative challenge was transforming a constrained, repurposed garage into a vibrant, functional bakery that honors local heritage. Internally, capturing the owner’s dream and cultural narrative required innovative spatial planning and material selection. Externally, navigating strict building codes, production limitations, and technology constraints pushed us to blend historical context with modern design solutions, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The space blends tradition with modernity, inviting customers to experience the warmth of home and dedication to artisanal baking.

- The project commenced in June 2022 in Magong, Penghu County, Taiwan and was completed on September 15, 2022. Over a focused period of more than three months, a former garage was transformed into Slow Bakery an adaptive reuse project that blends modern design with local heritage, showcasing the owner's passion and artisanal spirit.

Inside, well-placed displays and counters allow for effortless browsing and smooth transactions.
