Production Technology

The production team is from singapore. We make use of cyberhoist (cybermotion) to let the led wall move up & down. To match with different scenery during the show.

Design Challenge

There are no hanging point in front of the stage area. When we're going to create a supertrees like structure as decoration. We need to separate these structure into several pieces during set up period. Tailor made 8 load suspending devices from venue rooftop, hanging it one by one to create the overall sculpture.

Research

Any mention of gardens by the bay brings to mind these so-called supertrees – avatar-like, manmade structures fashioned from concrete and steel frames. Their branches, angled to the sky as if in a cry to the gods, shelter vertical gardens comprising over 200 species of plants. So we make use of this form to design for the show.
