איט'ס בירד היא מנורת רצפה העשויה ממתכת ואבן שכבר היו בשימוש בעבר. חלקי האבן מחוברים יחד כטראצו, חומר המורכב משברי אבן טבעית קטנים. המתכת שימשה בעבר כחומר בנייה, ושכבות הצבע השחוקות שלה עדיין נראות לעין. טכנולוגיית LED מספקת את התאורה. המנורה מחוברת באמצעות כבל, ועמעם המותקן על הכבל שולט בעוצמת האור. מידות המנורה הן 500 מ"מ על 500 עד 1200 מ"מ, בגובה של 1600 מ"מ. הצורה הפשוטה שאבה השראה מציפורים ומנוף נהר בעונת הסתיו.
