Ningbo Urban Construction Archives अभिलेखागार भवन के बारे में
निंगबो शहरी निर्माण अभिलेखागार, चीन के झेजियांग प्रांत के निंगबो शहर में स्थित एक अभिलेखागार भवन है। यह डिज़ाइन शहर के इतिहास की व्याख्या निर्माण के इतिहास के रूप में करता है। इमारतों को खंडों (ब्लॉक्स) के समुच्चय के रूप में समझा जाता है, इसलिए यह अभिलेखागार एक-दूसरे पर रखे गए ऐसे खंडों से बना है जो स्थान और सामग्री, दोनों के गुणों को संयोजित करते हैं। इन खंडों को तीन प्रकारों में वर्गीकृत किया गया है: पारदर्शी, ठोस और विशेष। स्थल का क्षेत्रफल 6567 वर्ग मीटर है, जिसमें ज़मीन के ऊपर ग्यारह मंज़िलों पर 17190 वर्ग मीटर तथा ज़मीन के नीचे दो स्तरों पर 6405 वर्ग मीटर का निर्मित क्षेत्र है।

- This design hopes to interpret history of Ningbo through a practice of fortification. Base on the understanding of urban and architecture, architects superimpose the two properties of 'space' and material to support the concept of Building Blocks from another new perspective, and this is used as a basic element of design.'Blocks' are divided into three categories: 'transparent', real and special block differently.

- Archives, which is regarded as an important culture carrier of collecting and preserving history, has abundant historical and cultural significance. Ningbo Urban Development Archives is mainly used to collecting developing history of this city, that it is called “Fortification History”. So, the start of design in this project is how to represent the concepts about fortification.

- City is composed by buildings, and buildings are constructed from different building blocks, which have special space and material attributes; hence, the history of city construction can be understood as history of fortification, and Ningbo Urban Development Archives is a collector of this history of fortification indeed. Base on the understanding of the city construction, we superimpose the two properties of 'space' and 'material' to support the concept of 'Building Blocks'.
