Strength can be increased by increasing the angle of the iron rod, increasing the number of columns, or placing it next to a wall. Kev Tshawb Fawb: Fascinated by the natural texture of solid wood, we came up with a design that did not require any processing on the wood. It has a simple structure, consisting of a pillar made of four iron rods welded to a steel plate, which is fixed to wood with screws. By supporting the heavy solid wood with thin pillars, we have created a structure that gives the impression of lightness.
Kev Txhawb Siab: This is a shelf made from ''Sendan'' wood from Okinawa. The pillars were inspired by the landscape of Japanese bamboo forests. This will raise the awareness of consumers and manufacturers about saving wood resources, and will make proposals for environmentally friendly manufacturing.
