About The Flight Of The Razorbill Cov Rooj Tog Siv Sab Nraum Zoov
Flight of the Razorbill yog ib pawg rooj tog siv sab nraum zoov uas muaj ib lub rooj zaum, ib lub rooj thiab ib lub teeb pom kev. Pawg no yog tsim los ntawm Fenix, uas yog ib yam khoom nanotechnology muaj daim npoo tsis ci heev, tiv thaiv tsis pub ntiv tes lo cim thiab muaj peev xwm kho nws tus kheej thaum raug cua sov. Fenix feem ntau yog siv rau hauv tsev xwb, tab sis pawg khoom no coj yam ntaub ntawv no los hloov kom siv tau rau sab nraum zoov. Cov duab tsim tau raws li kev kawm biomimetic ntawm lub cev aerodynamic ntawm tus noog hiav txwv Razorbill. Kev tsim qauv digital thiab kev txiav siv tshuab CNC uas meej heev yog qhov tsim tau cov duab geometry uas txuas mus tsis tu ncua.

- Unique Properties
- The Flight of the Razorbill is an outdoor furniture collection composed of a chair, table, and lighting piece crafted in Fenix®. Inspired by the aerodynamic silhouette of the Razorbill seabird, the design translates the sensation of flight into clean, sculptural forms. Its strength lies in the innovative use of Fenix®—typically applied in interiors—reimagined here for outdoor use, achieving a refined balance between durability, tactile quality, and architectural elegance.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Chair: 450 x 500 x 810 mm
Table: 1640 x 1640 x 730 mm
Lamp: 400 x 160 x 1350 mm - Tags
- Table, Chair, Lamp, Light, furniture, fenix, exterior, dinning
- Production Technology
- The collection was developed through a biomimetic design methodology, translating the aerodynamic geometry of the Razorbill into structural furniture forms. The pieces are fabricated using Fenix®, a high-performance nanotech material known for its ultra-matte surface, anti-fingerprint properties, and thermal self-healing capability. Digital modeling and precision CNC fabrication enabled the creation of continuous, refined geometries while ensuring durability and suitability for outdoor environments.
- Inspiration
- This project originates from a biomimetic approach, studying the Razorbill seabird’s aerodynamic body and efficient structure as a source of design intelligence. Its flight inspired a language of light yet stable forms. The research also explored the innovative use of Fenix®, whose self-healing and regenerative surface properties echo natural resilience, reinforcing the concept of furniture that learns from nature’s efficiency and durability.
