Kev Tshawb Fawb: The research was focused on finding the right dimension for the cuffs and finding the way to make something weareable out of the material ment for something else.
Kev Txhawb Siab: The inspiration: I often go to the theatre and like to dress for the occasion. I like to have something new and different every time I go. Once while I was thinking what to wear this time, there was a movie with Fred Astaire on the TV. I saw his sleek suit, his cuffs… and voila – the idea was born! I remembered cuffs and plastrons worn by men in the last century and decided to revive it in a modern way, this time as a part o woman garment.
Lub Sij Hawm Ua Hauj Lwm: The project started in March of 2012. in Zagreb and was finished in two weeks. During that time I was trying to find out the right dimension for comfortable wearing bracelets and the way to bend the plastic at home.
