Light Cycle S1 prijenosni je vanjski izvor napajanja oblikovan poput gume. Zaobljeno tijelo omogućuje korisnicima da uređaj vuku po tlu pomoću sklopive ručke, pa se jedinica za pohranu energije velikog kapaciteta može lako premještati pješice. Površina je izrađena od gume i kompozitnih materijala poput čađe (carbon black) radi otpornosti na trošenje i udarce. Čvrsta struktura ograničava deformacije i poboljšava odvođenje topline. Ugrađeni generator pretvara kinetičku energiju kotrljajućeg tijela u pohranjenu električnu energiju. Okretni štitnici štite ulazne i izlazne priključke.
