Jewelry appears to have suffered the ravages of time, with patterns filled in by sediment or rings deformed by the pressure of sediment. The basic hexagonal pattern organized in a six-pointed star refers to the stars, and the sky, and its infinite repetition evokes the concept of infinite power in Islamic architecture.
