Dot Sofia je višenamjenska zgrada za događanja i urbano stanovanje u Sofiji, Bugarska. Struktura sastavljena od dva volumena obuhvaća prostor za suvremenu umjetnost i događanja, prepoznatljiv restoran te stambene jedinice. Dot Sofia se nalazi u povijesnoj tržišnoj četvrti, području dugo povezanom s trgovinom, koje je posljednjih desetljeća bilo zanemareno. Pročelje je izrađeno od hrđajućeg čelika i podsjeća na starinsku materijalnost susjedstva. Predimenzionirani kapci otvaraju se i zatvaraju, prateći ritam tržišnog života. Zgrada je dovršena 2023. godine i ima bruto površinu od 1576 kvadratnih metara.

Unique Properties: Embedded in the urban complexity of the biggest street market in Sofia the simple two volume structure of DOT Sofia building manifests unexpected different faces and scales from the possible viewpoints. The hybrid program of intertwined contemporary art and events space; signature restaurant and design urban living are injected in the rather neglected historic heart of the city with the clear ambition to redirect its inevitable transformation. The rusted steel facade preserves the characteristic aged materiality of the area while the dynamics of the oversized shutters follow the rhythm of the market life.

Neglected for the past decades, it is now evolving into a multi-cultural melting pot. DOT Sofia aims to contribute to the rediscovery and evolution of this still hidden urban cultural area.
