Ls Twin Stars je recepcijski centar dovršen na Tajvanu u lipnju 2024. godine. Dizajn se temelji na temi zaštite doma. Slojeviti oblici štitova oblikuju pročelje i daju zgradi izgled utvrde. Vanjština koristi ploče od drvene vune i cementa s fleksibilnim poliuretanskim premazima, koji omogućuju širenje i stezanje u seizmičkom okruženju. Metalni lak vanjskim zidovima daje polureflektirajuću završnu obradu. U unutrašnjosti, zakrivljeni koncentrični zidovi šire se iz središnjeg prostora za izlaganje modela. Furnir od drva i kamena stvaraju toplu i stabilnu atmosferu.

Jedinstvena svojstva: The first key feature is the shield-shaped facade, symbolizing 'home protection' as a fortress offering security. Materials like wood wool cement boards and flexible PU coatings prevent cracks from earthquakes and enhance texture. The ground floor features an open parking area, while the ceiling incorporates geometric shapes, adding depth. The second feature is the concentric wall inside, representing 'home as the center.' Radiating outward, the interior walls form layered partitions, highlighting stability, warmth, and the inclusive nature of the home.
Dimenzije i pakiranje: The first floor features a parking area, a model display area, and an accessible booth for visitors who may have difficulty going upstairs. This booth allows for comfortable discussions and displays viewing on the first floor. The model display area is designed with curved concentric walls, highlighting the project location, introducing the design team, and outlining future development plans. On the second floor, there's a discussion area, a show-home area, and a tea bar for relaxation and photos. The discussion area benefits from large east-facing windows, maximizing natural light for a bright and comfortable environment.

Proizvodna tehnologija: The exterior features wood wool cement boards paired with flexible PU coatings, allowing for structural expansion and contraction. The outer walls are coated with metal lacquer, creating a semi-reflective finish that shimmers subtly in sunlight, adding a modern, striking touch. Inside, wood veneer is used extensively, providing a warm and tactile feel that enhances the home's comfort. Stone veneer complements the design, reinforcing stability and security, balancing the overall atmosphere, and creating a harmonious blend of softness and strength.
Dizajnerski izazov: To ensure stability, especially for the second-floor reception area above the parking lot, architects implemented a steel structure system. Secondary beams were added beneath the main beams to distribute structural pressure, effectively mitigating vibrations and earthquake impacts. Additionally, in response to stricter regulations, this project became the first reception center in New Taipei City to fully comply with official fire safety standards. The fire protection systems were fully integrated, meeting the same requirements as permanent buildings, ensuring safety and compliance.
