About Taiwan Imagery Chèz

Imaj Taiwan se yon chèz ki enspire pa kilti tradisyonèl Taiwanè a. Design la konbine sak KA-TSI a, yon sak trese yo itilize souvan nan Taiwan, ak Chèz Tai-Shi a, yon fotèy an bwa klasik Chinwa yo te itilize nan premye kay Taiwanè yo. Jonk (bulrush) ak aliminyòm se materyo prensipal yo. Chèz la mezire 500 pa 980 pa 710 milimèt. Do a, kousen an ak pye yo fòme twa pati separe ki konekte ak vis, sa ki fè transpò a pi konpak epi fabrikasyon an pi senp. Yon moul kontwole fòm koub yo epi redwi erè pwodiksyon yo.

Design Challenge
The special curvature makes it easy to produce errors, so after many experiments we chose to use a mold to control its shape.
Research
The earliest KA-TSI bags were knitted with bulrush (phôo tsháu).
KA-TSI Chair is taken from Tai-Shi Chair, the Chinese wooden fauteuil. Named after the official title, the Tai-Shi Chair is a classical Chinese furniture used by the Taiwanese earlier.
Inspiration
We hope to bring the traditional culture of Taiwan into this design, so that the tradition can be reproduced by design.
Project Duration
The project starts in Turin in October 2022 and ends in Taiwan in December 2022.
Operation Flow
The whole chair is divided into three parts, the back, cushion and legs, and assembled with screws, so that it will not take up space when transporting and can be more easily processed and manufactured.
