About Ideareve Ikegami Sal Mizik
Ideareve Ikegami se yon sal mizik ak yon bilding pou plizyè itilizasyon ki sitiye nan Ikegami, Ota-ku, Tokyo, Japon. Estrikti a fèt an beton ame, li gen kat etaj epi li gen dis mèt wotè. Bilding lan gen yon sal mizik ak yon oditoryòm, sal pou pratike mizik, rezidans pou lwe ki gen izolasyon kont bri, ansanm ak yon penthouse. Yon vestibil ak yon foye fòme yon zòn sikilasyon ki konekte anndan an ak deyò a. Twa mi dyagonal an asye inoksidab ki gen koulè kwiv bay foye a fòm li, epi reflektè akoustik kouvri mi sal la. Volim jewometrik la fè sonje peyizaj mòn ki nan pye tanp Ikegami Honmonji a.

- Unique Properties
- The mandate was to design a facility where residents can gather and study music in a variety of hybrid spaces. The reinforced concrete structure was designed to accommodate a music hall, practice rooms, soundproofed residential rental units, and a penthouse. The music hall and its auditorium occupies a strategic place. Entered via a vestibule and foyer it creates a circulation zone that blurs the lines between the hills of the external landscape and the vibe of creativity that awaits inside.

- Production Technology
- The building is a reinforced concrete structure. All rental residential units have a soundproof living room. The foyer is embraced by three brass-coloured, stainless steel diagonal walls, and the interior of the hall is encased in acoustic reflectors, with large walls that collectively form an abstract diagonal shape.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to solve the problem of providing privacy while opening up music activities to the community in a historically and culturally significant location. We addressed this challenge by creating a circulation space that crosses both the interior and exterior, while also pursuing a building form that symbolizes musical rhythm.
- Research
- Ikegami Honmonji is one of the most important temples of the Nichiren sect, dating back to the 13th century, and its history spans many years. Our task was to create a new community space that coexists with the cultural heritage at the foot of the temple. We sought to explore a new program facility where residents can continue to live while practicing, appreciating, and receiving music lessons, and also have the opportunity to present their music.
- Inspiration
- What inspired this design most is the unique location at the foot of Ikegami Honmonji temple and the surrounding hilly landscape. This inspired us to incorporate a mountainous topography effect into the geometrical volume of the building.
- Project Duration
- Location:Ikegami, Ota-ku,Tokyo, Japan
The project started in October 2017 and Completed in May 2021 - Operation Flow

In Ideareve Ikegami residents and the town, community can freely express their creativity.
