About Changer Bőrönd

A Changer egy átméretezhető bőrönd, amelyet olyan utazók számára terveztek, akiknek tárolási igényei utazásról utazásra változnak. A burkolat több egymásba illeszkedő rétegből épül fel. Összecsukott állapotban a Changer kisméretű bőröndként szolgál, amely repülőgép fedélzetére is felvihető. Az elülső gomb elforgatása kioldja a belső részeket, amelyeket kihúzva nagyméretű bőrönddé alakul, a gomb visszaforgatása pedig rögzíti a kiválasztott méretet. A test főként ABS és PC műanyagból készül, a négy sarkot pedig alumínium borítja a védelem érdekében.

Unique Properties: This is a luggage that can change size. The unique about this design is that it contains multiple layers of casing. When users carry little luggage, it is a small luggage. Changer allows the user to bring it on the plane and carry it with them, and it is very convenient. When the user is carrying a lot of luggage. Changer can be pulled out of the hidden inside part to become a large luggage. That can hold a lot of stuff. Changer can solve the problem of carrying different quantities of luggage by changing the size.

Production Technology: Mainly using ABC+PC material, impact resistance, high hardness, strong toughness, cheap price. The four corners are covered with aluminum metal for protection.
Design Challenge: This is an innovative design with a complex internal structure, and the machining qualification rate is the biggest challenge encountered by this project.
Research: According to research, people usually buy more than two suitcases to meet different travel needs. When they go on business trips, they tend to carry a small suitcase. When families travel, they often carry large luggage. This can cause a lot of unnecessary waste. There is a great market demand to solve this problem.
Inspiration: I was inspired by the way the armor was stacked. Our motivation for designing changer was the experience of travel. The size of luggage you need to carry on a trip is different for everyone. Sometimes it can be carried around, and sometimes it needs to store a lot of things. So, we wanted to integrate the large and small luggage. We want to design a luggage that could be resized.
Project Duration: The project started in September 2020 in Milan and finished in February 2021 in that place, and was exhibited in China in February 2021.
Operation Flow: First, it works just fine as a normal small box. Then, when you need to carry large items, turn the knob on the front and move all the inner parts. Third, pull out all the inner parts and this small luggage becomes a big one. Fourth, turn back the knob in the opposite direction to lock the suitcase. In this way, changer can be fixed without transformation.
