About White for Elegance Lakóépület belsőépítészete
A White for Elegance egy 73 négyzetméteres tajpeji, tajvani lakás belsőépítészeti tervezése. A 30 éves otthon felújítása skandináv szemléletet követ, fehér alapszínnel, sötétbarna padlóval és tompított színvilággal. A sötét fa bútorok, a fém függesztett lámpák és a fém székicabok vizuális súlyt és csillogást kölcsönöznek a térnek. Hatszögletű csempék borítják a bejáratot és a konyha padlóját, ahol a felület jobban ellenáll a foltoknak. Egy üvegfal teszi lehetővé, hogy a dolgozószoba megossza a természetes fényt a hálószobával, míg egy alacsonyabb hátsó fal mélyebbre engedi a természetes fényt a térbe.

- Unique Properties
- The large scale of white in the space makes it light and clean, with dark wooden furniture adding in some weight in the place and muted color décors, hexagonal tiles, and some potted plants as some soft touches. This fresh, Nordic style space is going to be home for the newlyweds’ elegant newly married life, and many years to come.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The project is 73 meter square.

- Production Technology
- The dining table is between the living room and the kitchen. With metal pendant lamps hanging on the beam above and metal chair legs below, the dash of shine is the highlight of the space. The kitchen floor is covered with hexagonal tiles, echoing the entrance and also being more stain resistant. The mini bar on the right is a great spot for a morning coffee or tea break.
- Design Challenge
- The partition of the study is made of glass, which allow the study to share the sunlight with the bedroom, and also keeps the room visually open. The door of the closet is a glass sliding door with some hardware, sharing the same elements in the bedroom. The space is well lit due to its connection with the balcony and has a lot of space to store clothes.
- Inspiration
- This project is a renovation on a 30-year-old apartment, and also a gift from a father to his newly wedded daughter. With the white base, the dark brown floors and a dash of muted colors, the designer builds a simple yet elegant Scandinavian style home for the newlyweds.
- Project Duration
- The project finished in December 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan.
- Operation Flow
- Walking into the door, the entrance is decorated with hexagonal tiles, creating a nook for comers to ease their minds from the busy lives outside and a perfect transition into the light space. The floating cabinet has unexcepted storage space. The soft gray-brown color palette continues and is applied on the floors of the public areas. A lower back wall design allows the natural light to shine in and light up the space.
