About Solarlux House Mondsee Lakóépület
A Mondsee-tó lenyűgöző környezetében elhelyezkedő építészeti projekt a fenntarthatóságot és a technológiai fejlődést testesíti meg. A teljes egészében keresztrétegelt fából (CLT) épített ház zökkenőmentesen illeszkedik környezetébe. A tetőbe integrált fotovoltaikus panelek hatékonyan hasznosítják a napenergiát, míg a geotermikus szondák biztosítják a fűtést. Az automatizált rendszerek vezérlik a természetes szellőzést és a fűtést. A környezetbarát anyagokra és energiahatékony megoldásokra helyezett hangsúllyal ez a faház korszerű, mégis harmonikus menedéket kínál.

- Production Technology
- The house is made entirely of wood using CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) technology. All finishes outside and inside are natural wood. Energy for heating is obtained from 3 geothermal probes and integrated photovoltaic panels. Modern control technology regulates the automated opening of windows and sunshades.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to fit the house into the beautiful surroundings and get as much space and living comfort as possible within a small plot of land.
- Research
- The aim of the project was to practically demonstrate the potential of natural ventilation in a single-family home by utilizing the chimney effect to stimulate airflow driven by temperature differences. Additionally, the behavior of the house when using geothermal heating in conjunction with photovoltaics integrated into the roof surface is monitored.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by the rugged mountainous surroundings, the design of this house mirrors the organic forms of the nearby peaks. Natural materials like wood harmonize with the landscape, while the segmented structure resembles the rocky outcrops in the backdrop. Each window frames breathtaking views of Mondsee Lake and the majestic mountains, ensuring the house seamlessly integrates into its stunning surroundings.
- Project Duration
- The project started 2021 and finished in 2024. Location: Mondsee, Austria.
- Operation Flow
- The house is extremely energy efficient in operation and, using mainly wood as a construction material, used minimal resources in its construction
