About Promotion Ուտելու աթոռ
Գիրք-տեքստ: Promotion-ը ուտելու աթոռ է, պատրաստված հյուսիսամերիկյան սև ընկուզենու փայտից։ Դիզայնը ներշնչված է փայտի լայնական կտրվածքի կառուցվածքից՝ մակերեսը, որը նշանավորված է տարեկան օղակներով։ Լայնական կտրվածքի փոքր քառակուսիները միացված են այնպես, որ ձևավորում են շախմատային տախտակի նմանվող նախշ։ Հատուկ պատվերով մշակված մուտք-դուրս (mortise and tenon) կառուցվածքը պահպանում է շրջանակի կայունությունը, մինչդեռ ձևը մնում է պարզ։ Արտադրության ընթացքում կիրառվում է ԹՊՀ (CNC) փորագրում, իսկ մակերեսը մշակվում է փայտի մոմային յուղով։ Տարբեր անկյուններով կատարված կտրվածքները ստեղծում են լույսի և ստվերի փափուկ էֆեկտներ։ Աթոռը հարմար է ինչպես ռեստորանների, այնպես էլ բնակելի տների և հանգստի սրահների համար։

- With unique material structure, this promotion dining chair features light& shade effect and a sense of order, offering users with artistic dining space. Unique touch of different wood end grain combined with different textures forms a distinctive visual effect. The exclusive mortise and tenon structure of the product ensure its stability.

Coating: use only OSMO wood wax oil with multiple coating - Design Challenge
- The challenge is to keep the whole structure stable with a simple shape. To make it, the product has a customized mortise and tenon structure to keep the structure stable and add some decors to details. Sections with different angles present various light and shadow effects, presenting a profound feeling and soft reflective effect.
- Research
- If its end grain seat is compared to a chess board, this simple chair can be seen as a pawn with no dramatic shape. But even a pawn, as long as he keeps going, can become a bishop, a knight, a castle, or even a queen when he reaches the end line, which is called Promotion.
- Inspiration
- The product is inspired by the end grain (tree ring) of wood with unique touch and texture, unlike the section of conventional wood furniture. This Promotion chair is made of small end grain squares putting together in order with the customized mortise and tenon structure presenting the aesthetic feeling of chessboard, standing out from conventional wood furniture.
- Project Duration
- The project was launched in Beijing in June 2019, completed in Henan in June 2022 and exhibited in Beijing's Caochangdi Art District in November 2022
