Վարպետ Ջի Գոնգը համանուն չինական անիմացիոն ֆանտաստիկ արկածային ֆիլմի թրեյլերի պաստառ է։ Պաստառի չափերն են 750 x 1050 միլիմետր։ Չինական տուշը և ավանդական չինական տարրերը օգտագործվել են բանաստեղծական և խորհրդավոր արևելյան մթնոլորտ ստեղծելու համար։ Վիշապը և վանականը՝ պատկերված կարմիր կասայայով (կարկատանային վերնազգեստ) և արմավենու տերևից հովհարով, ֆիլմի կերպարներ են և ստեղծվել են եռաչափ ծրագրային ապահովման միջոցով։ Տուշը պատրաստվել է ջրով և փորձարկվել բրնձե թղթի, կոշտ թղթի և կտորի վրա՝ հյուսվածքները համեմատելու համար։ Այնուհետև բոլոր մասերը միավորվել են թվային եղանակով։
