About Fred Ապարանջան

Ապարանջաններ և փուչիկներ կան շատ տարբեր. Դիզայներները ՝ ոսկե, պլաստիկ, էժան և թանկ… բայց, ինչպես որ գեղեցիկ են, դրանք բոլորն էլ միշտ պարզ և միայն ապարանջաններ են: Ֆրեդը ավելին է: Այս ճարմանդներն իրենց պարզությամբ վերակենդանացնում են հին ժամանակների ազնվականները, բայց դրանք ժամանակակից են: Դրանք կարելի է հագնել ինչպես մերկ ձեռքերով, այնպես էլ մետաքսե վերնաշապիկով կամ սև սվիտերով, և դրանք միշտ կրելու են դասի հպում: Այս ապարանջանները եզակի են, քանի որ նրանք գալիս են որպես զույգ: Դրանք շատ թեթև են, ինչը նրանց անհարմար է դարձնում հագնելը: Դրանք հագնելով ՝ միանշանակ նկատվում է:

Unique Properties: These bracelets are unique because they come as a pair. They are very light which makes their wearing comfortable
Dimensions & Packaging: Dimension, Package and Technical properties: Cuffs are 13 cm long, 12 cm high and 6 cm wide. They come in pair and are packed in an orange - pink protective pouch tied with the orange bow.

Production Technology: Cuffs are made out of light white plastic used for billboards.
Design Challenge: The real challenge was finding the way to bend the material at home without professional machines and to find something that would look as a cuff link. But it also was a work with many gleeful errors.
Research: The research was focused on finding the right dimension for the cuffs and finding the way to make something weareable out of the material ment for something else.
Inspiration: The inspiration: I often go to the theatre and like to dress for the occasion. I like to have something new and different every time I go. Once while I was thinking what to wear this time, there was a movie with Fred Astaire on the TV. I saw his sleek suit, his cuffs… and voila – the idea was born! I remembered cuffs and plastrons worn by men in the last century and decided to revive it in a modern way, this time as a part o woman garment.
Project Duration: The project started in March of 2012. in Zagreb and was finished in two weeks. During that time I was trying to find out the right dimension for comfortable wearing bracelets and the way to bend the plastic at home.
Operation Flow: The research was focused on finding the right dimension for the cuffs.
