About Folded 01 Ճաշասենյակի աթոռ
Folded 01-ը ճաշասենյակի աթոռ է։ Նստատեղն ու թիկնակը ձևավորված են ալյումինի մեկ թերթից, որը թեքված է ձեռքով։ Ծալված ձևը աթոռին տալիս է կոշտություն և բնական թեքման էֆեկտ, որն ավելացնում է հարմարավետություն։ Ալյումինե թերթը տեղադրված է գունավոր պողպատե շրջանակի վրա, որն ապահովում է նուրբ գունային մանրամասն։ Դիզայնը ներշնչված է քառակուսի թղթե գրառման ծալումից, որը ծալվելուց հետո դառնում է կոշտ։ Աթոռն ունի 450 մմ լայնություն, 500 մմ խորություն և 800 մմ բարձրություն։ Նպատակն էր վերադառնալ առարկայի էությանը՝ նվազագույն արտաքին տեսքով։

- Unique Properties
- Folded 01 is the latest design by Erno Dierckx.By experimenting with production methods a dinningchair was born.
Erno Dierckx tries to challenge the way excitingchairs are constructed and goes back to the essence of the product. The object has a minimalistic yet sophisticated look. The chair consists out of honestand durable materials with a subtle color detail. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- The chair consist out of a hand bended aluminum sheet. The raw material is combined with a coloured steel frame.
- Design Challenge
- The main challenge was te find a reliable folding technique with a minimal and beautiful appearance
- Inspiration
- The idea started while playing with a post-it note used to right down ideas. By folding the square sheet a rigid shape arises. This technique was used to construct a chair. The folded chair consists out of a raw aluminum sheet bend by hand and mounted on a colored steel frame.
- Project Duration
- Project started Februari 2018 in Antwerp Belgium and finished november 2019. First time exhibited Contemporary design fair Brussels.
- Operation Flow
- Folded 01 is a dinning chair made out of a single sheet raw aluminum. The folding technique gives the chair the needed comfort and has a natural bending effect
