House in Repino adalah sebuah rumah pribadi yang berlokasi di Repino, wilayah Leningrad, Rusia. Rumah ini memiliki luas total 1000 meter persegi. Komunitas vila tersebut menetapkan satu aturan yang tegas: seluruh hunian harus mengikuti gaya bernuansa Wright. Rancangan ini mempertimbangkan aturan tersebut dan menafsirkan gaya itu dengan cara yang orisinal. Rumah ini menyatu dengan lanskap sekitarnya. Pepohonan yang ada dipertahankan sebisa mungkin, dan beberapa pohon menembus kanopi untuk menciptakan ritme serta hubungan yang lebih erat antara arsitektur dan alam. Batu, kayu, dan logam menjadi material utamanya.

Unique Properties: The house with a total area of 1000 sq. m is located in Repino, Leningrad region. The project had one strong stylistic limitation: all the residences in that villa community had to be in a Wright-like style. The result is a completely original project but with consideration of this requirement. The house is well integrated into the landscape. The aim is to preserve as many existing trees as possible; some of them will go through the canopies to create a unique rhythm and better architecture&nature relationship.

Design Challenge: The project had one strong stylistic limitation: all the residences in that villa community had to be in a Wright-like style. This requirement was taken into consideration but interpreted.
Inspiration: The main source of inspiration was the unique natural environment of the region. For the project, the natural materials were chosen: stone characteristic to the local environment, wood, and metal. All of them will change in time for architecture to fuse with the natural environment.
Project Duration: The project has started in 2020 and still in progress. The location is Repino, Leningrad region, Russia.
Operation Flow: The house is planned around the center where is living room placed. To reach other rooms, the user will have to pass by the “main square”, the heart of the house. The rest of the functional program of the house is made of kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms for inhabitants and guests, 2 children’s rooms, changing room, SPA with a swimming pool, hammam and sauna, cabinet, lounge zone.
Every room, including SPA, master bedroom, and children’s rooms, has an access to the individual terraces. The central outdoor lounge zone with a fireplace and a summer kitchen is without a canopy.
On the site, there are a guest block with two guest bedrooms; technical facilities, a garage with the staff facility, and a workshop.
