About Yin Mo Star Kui Set Pisau

Yin Mo Star Kui adalah set pisau Tiongkok berisi empat buah yang dirancang untuk dapur rumah tangga. Setiap bilahnya terbuat dari baja komposit dengan struktur berlapis banyak. Inti baja berkarbon tinggi menjaga ketajaman mata pisau, sementara lapisan permukaan baja berkarbon rendah tahan terhadap korosi. Penempaan panas pada suhu 1040 derajat Celsius dan penempaan dingin pada suhu minus 196 derajat Celsius meningkatkan kekuatan serta ketangguhannya. Permukaan hasil tempa sedikit kasar, sehingga mengurangi kontak dengan makanan yang lengket. Gagangnya memiliki area cengkeraman cekung dan bobot yang seimbang demi kenyamanan saat digunakan dalam waktu lama. Sentuhan akhir berwarna hitam dan perak menampilkan motif Taotie yang klasik.

Unique Properties: This Chinese knife set, designed based on diverse needs of Chinese kitchens, aims to offer users an efficient, comfortable experience. It ingeniously integrates unique appearance design, exquisite craftsmanship, and premium materials, striking a perfect balance between aesthetic pleasure and practicality.

Production Technology: The knife set employs 1040 degrees Celsius hot and minus 196 degrees Celsius cold forging processes to ensure lastingly superior performance. The hot forging process improves the overall strength and toughness by optimizing the shape and eliminating imperfections. The cold one enhances the crystal structure to increase resistance to deformation. Compared to conventional knives, the product, benefiting from its special forging processes, achieves better durability and prolonged service life.
Design Challenge: The challenge was striking a balance between hardness and toughness of the knives to enhance durability and practicality. To address that, the blade is crafted from composite steel and utilizes a multilayer structure. The core layer of high carbon steel ensures lasting sharpness, suitable for precise cutting and prolonged use. The anti corrosion surface layer of low carbon steel is uneasy to rust even under damp conditions, reducing the risk of breakage and edge rolling.
Research: Traditional Chinese knives often focus excessively on practicality while neglecting aesthetic pleasure and user experience. This product, however, demonstrates a profound understanding of traditional Chinese culture and a deep insight into modern lifestyles, and especially takes into account the needs of Chinese kitchens. It aims to bring users visual enjoyment and foster their cultural identity through unique appearance design while ensuring an efficient, effortless experience.
Inspiration: The product prioritizes both of aesthetic pleasure and practicality. Its refined forged texture significantly enhances visual layering while giving a strong 3D visual effect and a sense of dynamism. Meanwhile, the color scheme of black and silver, combined with the classic Taotie pattern as an embellishment, greatly improves visual appeal by marrying antiquity with modernity.
Project Duration: This product was developed in Beijing in February, 2024, and will be launched in China in April, 2025.
Operation Flow: The ergonomic handle adopts a reasonably concave structure at the grip area and a streamlines shape, as well as scientifically distributed weight, to offer a comfortable grip and relieve hand fatigue during prolonged use.
A slightly rough surface resulted from forging processes effectively reduces the contact area between the food and the blade, making the knives especially suitable for handling sticky food. This improves cutting efficiency, contributing to smoother and more efficient operations.
