Nchọpụta: We recruited 200 volunteers from different regions, ages and genders to participate in the research. After analyzing the differences between their living habits and hip shape, we finally selected the most suitable radians of the curve from 17 models. After research and analysis, we worked out the ideal diameter of the circle that placing two chairs side by side, and the distance between the two circle centers is the most comfortable distance we think people can communicate with.
Mkpali: The design is inspired by the arches, moon gate in ancient chinese gardens, the circular holes designation brings broader visual sense, which also implies that there is no barrier between communication. Sitting in the chair, you can free your thoughts and keep your mind flow unobstructed. Besides, this design also syndicates fulfilled and perfect.The idea of the moon inspiration is because of the traditional Chinese festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival.We like to sit on chair and chat with friends and enjoy the moonlight.
