- Inspiration
- I got my inspiration from Buddhist pagodas. The luminous pagodas represent the sacred meaning of Buddhism and the path to enlightenment, providing wisdom to the world through the holy light. And we used this meaning to design this lamp. The lamp is also a product for lighting up the night. Our design motivation was to make traditional symbols as unique as possible in modern products. We changed the way this lamp opens and closes. Artfully rotated through the shape of the pagoda.
- Project Duration
- The project started in September 2022 in Milan and finished in February 2023 in that place, and was exhibited in China in February 2023.
- Operation Flow
- First, users connect the pagoda to a power source. Second, place your hand on the top and rotate the shape clockwise to light it up. Third, continue pushing clockwise to increase brightness. Finally, if you want to lower the brightness or turn off the light, push the bulb counterclockwise.
