Production Technology
Utilizing a modular loop system allows for flexibility in showcasing handbags and jewelry pieces, ensuring a dynamic and engaging shopping experience for customers. Each element within the store is meticulously crafted to enhance the in-person shopping experience. Within this framework, innovative display systems and art experiences come to life, seamlessly integrated with 3D-printed woven textures and stainless steel metal art walls from a modular loop system.
Design Challenge
Prototyping played a crucial role in the research process, allowing designers to test different iterations of the continuous loop system and evaluate its feasibility, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, integrating 3D-printed woven textures into the wood framework adds a layer of tactile intrigue, inviting customers to interact with the space on a sensory level. This fusion of traditional materials with cutting-edge technology exemplifies the store's forward-thinking approach to design.
Research
The research behind creating the continuous loop system for MUSÉE's flagship store involved a deep dive into the brand's core ethos of sustainability and its unique proposition of offering pre-owned luxury bags. The research began by immersing into MUSÉE's brand identity, mission, and values. It was crucial to grasp the essence of the brand's commitment to sustainability and its vision of redefining luxury through pre-owned items. Through meticulous research and creativity, the design team has curated a space that not only showcases luxury fashion but also fosters meaningful interactions between customers and the brand.
Inspiration
This design revolves around a recycled loop concept, symbolizing both the cyclical nature of fashion and the brand's commitment to sustainability. A consistent wood band framework serves as the foundation, evoking warmth and timelessness. Within this framework, innovative display systems and art experiences come to life, seamlessly integrated with 3D-printed woven textures and stainless steel metal art walls from a modular loop system.
Project Duration
This project was designed in May 2023, and finished the construction by Oct 2023, it's located in Beijing, China.
Operation Flow
Ultimately, the flagship store for MUSÉE transcends traditional retail environments, offering a unique blend of inspiration, sustainability, and creativity.
