I always was interested in fine arts. From there developed a keen interest in painting, colors which led to studying interior designing. Now there is nothing else i would do expect being a designer.

Designers should be extremely responsible towards earth in choosing the kind of materials for their products confining more to eco-friendly materials or recyclable materials.
My last exhibition was in october-november 2012 in chennai, India. I would most likely want to hold my next exhibition in the end of this year.
I get inspired by things around me. Nature, sea, birds, nest, architecture, paintings, sculpture. Anything and everything.
I don't have a particular style. I am eclectic by nature and hence i try to incorporate my nature to my designs. Main characteristics of my designs would be originality, looks, form and function and comfort.
I am from India. Yes, definitely cultural heritage affects my design a lot. The materials used, the production technology, labor all affect the design process.
I would recommend young designers to not look for inspiration from other designers work. Explore, travel to other countries, click pictures of just about anything that they love and develop that into a new original design.
I don't really see negatives except that being a designer means thinking 24/7 non-stop.
Positives are endless, most important being it stimulates the brain.
Positives are endless, most important being it stimulates the brain.
Golden rule in design for me is it should speak out loud and say "This is me. This is how i want to be." Every design should have a story behind it to be told.
I love designing, its not just my passion but my life. So i don't take it as time consuming because that's the thing i live for.
