Design Legend Interview

20 April 2017

I studied PETRGU (University of metall manufacture and repair) ,Petrozavodsk,Russia 1996 and I create jewelry and accesories for men/

I like to create designs for strong, independant and free people (mainly men) and I always get visions of designs in my head that I want to create in reality. I once asked a person to teach me his mastership in jewelry and he refused- that created a fire in me to become the beast designer and be better than him.

Expand my collections for men. Create new coolections .

Find their passion and create more of it. Always educate theirselfes in technology and material they work with.

A unique idea and masteship behind the design.

A good design-good quality. The best design - originality, the best quality and mastership.

A value is that you can buy it or ask a designer to create it for yourself and wear it your whole life if this is the best quality. Be the only one in the world with this kind of jewelry piece.

I would design more expensive and crazy project for older men.

A skull mask that comes with a key and opens up its doors.

I have my unique trait of shape and edges,my own Z in designs (first letter of my last name).

I can't really remember cause I don't awe of someone,just their works/

Maybe weddind rings by Bvlgary and rings for men by other big fashion houses.

Actually one I made and got a silver award here. Seahorse pendant. Original idea, tha its for men.and a gemstone that radites the whole pendant inside out.

Work really hard,self-educate,have passion

Maybe become a fitness trainer.

A vision that you get and then come around to create a jewelry out of it.

I know I can sound selfish- its me.

A talent,passion, hard work.

I had to know how to work with metal, how to work with gems. I was born in a worker family with minimum money and grew on the streets + in the 1990-s it was a very criminal time for people.

With professionals entries,social networks.

I am now creating a new collection for men which looks like bodyshapes made out of apple (Adam and Eve).

Find my market, job offers, people who are interested and design for them and other fashion related events.

A professional, who is very experinced in what he's doing, the best quality and original deisgns.

It help people to become happy by wearing jewelry,it created a market for designers like me and a job. It influence the culture about the history behind designs and about jewelry.

A collection inspired by Adam and Eve and few other lesser project.Rings, earrings with original ideas and deisgns.

"The Jormungand" ring - because I was able to achieve an impecable quality, original design inspired by the serpent and good size.

More visibility and job for designers like me.

To be more plane and use more anti-allergic,less expensive, more hi-tech designs.

6 month-1 year.

I start on paper.

Live free,be bold,independant,strong-spirited,well educated in your field and about materials you work with.

The most unique ones- do inspire in some way new trends and designers.

I use 3D modeling programs, and try to create a shape that comfortable to wear, also use allergy-free metals if this is a desire of a person.

3D max, Rhinocerous, pencil, ruler, glass table and a computer monitor.

I try to create a color by blackening the metall and by using gems. I work with the surfdace to create a unique shape more. I like to use everry metal in my work, especially gold.

What does it mean and how much it cost.

It's an acomplishment and how do a designer came up with this design if its great and unique.

I don't have one and I think ideal would be if people are really alike and move in the same direction. Sometimes a difference can create a great collaboration, but a long-term work need a more alike person.

A warriors by nature. Free-spirited people.who are free and independant.

Classic literature.

I studied for years and self-educated myself on the cause. Everyday I would look for something new and exciting.

A heroes from a time long-forgotten. Warrios.

I'm not famous yet and I dont want to be a celebrity- I just want to remain a orifessional designer, owner of the brand who create great jewelry for men.

Blue,a beach,italian paella,drawing,not really interested in brands.

I motivate myself to grow and be better by a desire to make a Frangue's name.

I almost drowm once and I survived- that was a sign that I need to left a mark on this world.I didn't know who would I become.

Its hard to assume - I hope people would change their way of living to no destroy planet, themselfes and everything around them.

I would want them to know that it's a blessing to be able to be an artist and make great designs for people.

Designer Interview

17 April 2017

I am inspired by warriors and vikings, strong - spirited people, who are free of rules. I became a designer because I always had a desire to draw and then I found jewelry making. For me- it lets you create a pencil drawing in real world.

Frangue - means "free" from Gallic language. And I always relate to wolf.

A vision that I draw on paper and then make it a reality.

Everything for men. Well sized designs.

It's jormungand ring. It's a composite ring - consist 3 parts and symbolize a serpent from Scandinavian mythology, which encircles the world.

A ring with Scandinavian pattern.

Gold. I like to work with metal, create new forms and shape it. Also really like sculpting.

At home alone, drawing to the sounds of Norse music.

Edges and shape.

Pride, and warrior like passion. And a trance like state when I draw.

Satisfaction and visual excitement.

A fine quality, original design, shape.

Metal work, shaping and quality. Originality of the idea behind.

Making good designs and good quality.

It will become simpler and to the point, using allergy- free materials.

At a local exhibition center in Saint-Petersburg. I'm planning to exhibit abroad.

It's a visions and desire to draw. I simply look at world around m.

Sharp shapes, rough edges, old school designs for men with premium quality. Big sized jewelry, like in old times for warriors,Vikings.

Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I was born in the Northern part of the country and was always influenced by vikings and wildlife, nature of North of Russia.

I'm just starting to. I'd like to collaborate on projects.

Looking at works and ideas behind design, quality - then decide whether it meets their desires.

I get a feeling, vision, inspiration and it live in my head a little time, then I start to create a design on paper.

I get up and check my messages for new orders. Then usually I contact my production team to check on what stage jewelry production is. Then I work as a fitness trainer part time. And in the middle trying to make a name of this brand in Saint-Petersburg city. Late at night I draw new projects and create collections on paper.

Positives is that you create your own art. Negatives are not enough orders to make money for new projects,it's unstable.

Keep sharp edges and keep it like it belong to men.

Ability to draw, imagination, knowing shapes and forms and how to create a balance. Of course knowing materials you work with and technology of jewelry making.

Pencil, imagination, ruler. Rhinoceros, 3D max.

I try to work every time I have a leisure time.

2 mouths minimum.

What inspires you.

Working as carpenter. Also casting metal while studying at University.

Men with their own business, athletes, women who know what they want and ready to pay for good designs.

Drawing on paper. Because it's a magical process to create by drawing on paper.

Getting people to know Frangue in the world. Exhibit and show my works. Creating new collections.

Right now I work with talented 3D designers, who create stl files out of my drawings.

My new collection that I create- it's about Adams apple. The bodies, that shaped out of eaten apple.
