I become a designer because I love art in all it's forms starting form my passion for buildings and cities structures.

I choose to be a designer.

I work on packaging design projects and this is what I would like to do in the future.

I'm not a legend, I'm just a passionate designer and my advice for young designers would be to work hard and put a lot of love into your design work.

Hard work and courage to be yourself.

I evaluate a design my composition, detail execution, innovating spirit.

A good design is timeless, and bring happiness into people lives, challenge their mind.

I work on food & beverage packaging design projects.

A new unique glass bottle for wine.

I just love what I do, and how people feel when they experiment a good design.

I have many - I can name Antoni Gaudí, Brancusi, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo.

For example I love sculptures made by Brancusi, the minimalist style so modern for its period.

One of my best work till now it's a packaging design project called Saxo - Dry Gin because it explores a new design for the glass bottle, creating a powerful mix between exterior and interior content of the product.

Work and explore more.

Probably a doctor.

Design for me is that element that should be present in all the things that surround us from a street lamp to a well design chair in the kitchen.

My sister was my biggest supporter.

My perseverance helped me become what I am today.

My family considered I should follow a more financially secure road.

In their own style. Be original.

I hope I will have the chance to create more innovating packaging design projects.

To create packaging design experience that people enjoy and remember.

Good designs.

It brings values, quality and happiness in the society.

I'm working on a concept for a Romanian traditional wine bottle.

The design projects that gave me more satisfaction where the ones where I could innovate and change the usual image of the product itself.

I would like to change the usual image of many packaging design products, made them visible for the public, create design experiences.

To make new discoveries in the materials sector.

Depending on the project - between a couple of weeks to a couple of month.

I always start with a idea, a strong foundation for my project.

Enjoy and work hard.

The best projects have the power to create the trend or break it.

It helps me bring my ideas to life.

I mainly use Design Software for Illustration,3D modeling and rendering.

They have a very important role of giving visual direction to a composition.

How is made?

This is a great inspiration !

Yes. I didn't found them yet.

Other design artist that I collaborate with.

Old legends books, where I get to imagine and create unique worlds in my mind.

Working and exploring design options.

Leonardo Da Vinci.

I am not famous, I enjoy receiving awards because they are a recognisation of my design work.

I like all the colors, Spain and Italy, pasta with sea food, spring.

When people enjoy my work.

I hope we will protect our planet, that it will be more green that it is now.

Do everything with a little bit of pleasure.

Designer Interview

7 August 2018

I always wanted to be an artist, so I went to architecture and design university for studying a more complex perspective on art and because of my love for buildings. After that, I discovered and started to explore the world of packaging design. For me packaging design is " Architecture in Miniature".

My design studio - brand CreativeByDefinition was born to embrace a new innovating packaging design direction, to bring new perspectives in design and the work is dedicated to Food & Beverage Sector, two of my passions.

For me design is an artistic, unique perspective that we should see and experience in all the things that surround us .

I like creating unique and challenging packaging design projects mainly for Food & Beverage Sector.

I have to many to name, so I will only mention the wood furniture pieces made by Antoni Gaudí for its interior's or sculptures made by Brancusi like " Pasare Maiastra".

The first thing that I designed was a modern house.

I like to experiment, I don't have one.

I feel most creative in the morning.

I focus more on the essence of the whole composition.

When I design , I experience happiness.

An innovating & catchy idea.

Details, composition and instinct.

Teach the society new things and protect the environment.

We will continue to explore more an more innovations in the world of new materials.

I had my last exhibition at the Architecture and Design University In Bucharest, Romania.

My inspiration comes from architecture, art, nature, people, traveling, books, ancient history, etc.

My design style is minimalist with an ironic twist.

I live In Romania. I get inspired by my country history and also by many other international currents.

I collaborate really good with companies that are opened to suggestions, I like to share with them my design philosophy and decide together what is the best fit for their company products.

The companies should choose designers that they respect and have the ability to present to them a new creative direction.

My design process starts with finding an idea that I can explore, and then connect it with the ongoing project.

My favorite design items at home are : my chairs, my night lamp, my wooden dragon and my painting brushes.

I always start by enjoying a morning walk with my dog, so I can get inspired by nature and people. I continue then in studio creating new projects.

Be original, innovate, be curious, persevere and enjoy working hard.

Positive : you get the chance to explore and create new designsNegatives: you can detach yourself from reality

To be creative, to use inspiration from everywhere and never copy somebodies else.

Creativity and hard work.

I always use my pencil,my favorite instrument and white paper. Then I use software like: Adobe Suites, Autodesk 3d Programs, Vray, etc.

I always try to stop and make time for my family, that keeps me focused.

Sometimes a month, other times more.

How I get from being an architect to be a packaging designer?

The most important job experience was learning to explore more creative leads in the same time and choose the best one for the ongoing packaging design project.

I love working from beginning to the end of a project - see how is born and then produced.

Transforming more and more innovating ideas into real projects.

I work mostly alone, however I would also like to work in a team, collaborate with others.

I work on a gourmet high end packaging design project for saffron. I am trying to create a more unique packaging direction for this type of products.
